Maybe we've crossed paths, maybe we haven't, and you've only just found your way to our website today... Whatever the reason, thank you for your support.

 

I started growing flowers in Renwick on a borrowed quarter-acre back section with my Mum Margaret alongside me in 2017, before moving to a lifestyle block in Spring Creek, where I am now. There's been a lot of blood, sweat, and tears from both of us at times. After nine years of growing and selling flowers in Marlborough, I've decided it's time to close the business. Originally, the long-term plan was ten years, but as my family and I look towards future projects and adventures, I've decided to bring the end forward a year. The retail side of Fantail Fields (including the website) on Friday, 19th December 2025.

 

We intentionally haven't planted summer flowers so we can tidy up the growing beds as things finish flowering, ready to re-grass for the sheep in Autumn. You will likely still come across our flowers scattered through floral arrangements at retail florist shops in town through January, as we wind down to the end of the financial year and the final closure of Fantail Fields for good.

The flowers have been great. Learning, growing, and creating in every aspect of the business have had their place. Sometimes you win, sometimes you learn. The most rewarding part has had to have been the people, and for you, I'm eternally grateful. Thank you to those who trusted me with creating their wedding floral. Thank you to those who purchased my flower to show empathy or gratitude to friends, family, or even complete strangers. To those who just needed some flowers, thank you for joining me on this journey.
